The foreboding communist quin-arch structure on top of the mausoleum. I read that it is 20 meters in height but it seemed to me at least 100. The mausoleum held the remains of Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej and other early communists until 1991. In 2000 the government used it as an auction hall to sell some of Ceauşescu's posessions.
