My wanderings took me to Carol I Park. We are looking at a huge structure that is a mausoleum topped with a structure built in 1958 in memory of "The Heroes of the Struggle for the People's and the Homeland's Liberty for Socialism" Its future is still being debated today. On the many stairs leading up to it were some young daredevils rollerblading backwards down to what I was expecting to be their doom. But, they survived and I could kick myself now for not getting some action shots of them. Oh well, next time...
