Defendant in Civil Suit

Princess Ileana of Romania is shown in Criminal Courts building, New York, Jan. 25, where she is defendant in a $949,999.99 civil suit brought by her brother-in-law, Austrian Archduke Franz Josef. Suit concerns sale of ancestral properties including Castle Hernstein in Austria. Special Supreme Court referee Isidor Wasservogel postponed trial opening until Jan. 26 due to a crowded calendar. The Princess now lives in Newton, Mass.
